Pregnancy Laughs

Okay, so I didn't draw or in any way create these cartoons, but I thought I would post them just for family and friends on here to take a look at the lighter side of pregnancy.  Except for the top cartoon, I can totally relate to these situations...

With the swollen feet, bad heartburn, muscle and joint pains, dizziness, and breathlessness, I just hope this baby comes soon.  We have (finally!) decided on her name - Afton Abigail Platt (thanks Greg, for being patient with me, looking through many baby name books, and eventually coming up with the name we both liked) and I can't wait till she's born!  Just one more month to go!

Well, only 2 months left to go! This picture doesn't do my big belly justice. I swear I'm way bigger than that - at least it feels like it!

I have already gained 30 pounds! If I get pregnant again, I'll know what to do differently so I don't gain so much. In order to try to slow down the weight gain, I walk for an hour 6 days a week. It's been working, thank goodness! I'm hoping to gain only 5 more pounds before the baby comes - wishful thinking, I know!

Well, here I am at almost 5 months pregnant. Basically the only changes are that I weigh 5 pounds more, only one pair of non-maternity pants fit me now and my belly is slightly bigger.

Here I am at 17 weeks. Most people can't tell I'm having a baby yet. I feel fat!

I want to have a photo record of how huge I get with this pregnancy. I'm starting this photo record at 3 months and I'll be taking a photo each month (if I can handle posting photos of me getting fatter and fatter!)

Since January, I've already gained about 10 pounds and I'm only supposed to gain up to 35 pounds altogether, so I better cut down on the junk food! Greg tells me I shouldn't worry at all about my weight right now, but when only 4 of all my pants fit me and my shirts are tight, it's hard not to!

Oh, and in case you didn't notice, I chopped off my hair at Dollar Cuts. I have basically one hairstyle that goes with this haircut, and frankly I'm excited and anxious for my hair to grow back!
