Is Makeup Worth the Effort?

So recently I went and bought 10.00 worth of makeup (mascara, base, powder, eyeliner) and I wondered if the makeup actually improved my looks, or if it was a waste of money. I usually only wear makeup on special occasions and Sundays.

Well, what do you think? I sure can tell a difference from these two photos!
